Background

How the work took its shape.

Muneeb Rashid, Amazon Marketplace & PPC Manager

I started in 2020, freelancing for independent US brands onSeller Central. Most of that first year was cleanup: listings suppressed for reasons nobody had read, campaigns built by someone who had since left, stock that ran out in week three of a launch. Very little of it was strategy. It was finding out what had already gone wrong, and in what order to fix it.

At Hyperfuture I took over one catalog listed in 14 marketplaces, running up to $10K a month in ad spend. The same ASIN behaved differently in each. What sold in the US stalled in Germany, and when I pulled the search terms German buyers were actually typing, the translated title contained almost none of them. Keyword research stopped being a US-only task for me after that.

At Leads Expert Group I moved toVendor Central, managing an established motorcycle apparel and leather goods brand in the US. First-party takes away most of the levers I was used to: no retail price, no Buy Box, no relisting your way out of a weak ASIN. What is left is content, fill rate and cost negotiation, so I spent that year getting good at purchase orders and chargeback disputes.

Since late 2024 I have been an Amazon Brand Manager at Swiftstart, where advertising, catalog, inventory, account health and compliance all report into one P&L that I own. Across the four roles: 26 accounts, nine marketplaces, and monthlyPPC budgets above $10K on several of them. The results are written up in thecase studies, including a fullVendor Central quarter.

What I have ended up good at is the join between those things. Deciding whether to push a product this week means holding stock cover, margin, listing quality and rank in view at once. Split that across four people and the answer arrives a week after it was useful.

How I work

Four things I will not compromise on.

These are the positions that occasionally cost me work, and they are the reason the accounts I do take tend to stay.

The constraint is rarely advertising

Accounts almost always arrive with a PPC brief. Often enough the real problem is a variation family that was split years ago and never recombined, or stock cover too thin for any bid to be correct. I would rather say that in week one than bill six months of bid tuning against it.

Numbers that survive a follow-up question

An improving ACOS next to falling profit is a worse month presented as a better one. I report against contribution margin after fees, returns and storage, and every case study here states its date range and what it does not prove.

The weekly loop does the work

Stockouts, suppressions and account health notices undo more performance than any bidding strategy creates. Most of my week is the same unremarkable checks in the same order, which is what keeps the interesting problems rare.

Build the missing step

When a tool stops short and the gap turns into recurring manual work, I write something to cover it. Bulk file validation, search-term triage, margin joined to campaign data. A few hours once, instead of the same hour every week.

Team3 operators

Three operators, one view of the account.

Advertising, margin and marketplace operations sit with three named people, and the one who reads your search-term report is the one who answers your email about it.

Amazon Marketplace & PPC Manager

Muneeb Rashid

Five years across Seller Central and Vendor Central, 26 accounts and nine marketplaces. Owns the account as one connected P&L: what advertising is allowed to do is decided against stock, margin and catalog health rather than in isolation.

On the account

  • Account strategy and P&L ownership
  • Vendor Central: purchase orders, fill rate, chargebacks
  • Catalog, variations and account health
  • Inventory planning against bid strategy
Faris Rashid, Amazon Marketplace Manager

Amazon Marketplace Manager

Faris Rashid

Holds the commercial side of the account: fee and settlement reconciliation, contribution margin per ASIN, and the pricing and cost work that sets what a bid is allowed to be. Also runs marketplace operations alongside it.

On the account

  • Contribution margin and break-even ACOS
  • Fee, settlement and reimbursement reconciliation
  • Pricing, COGS and promotion economics
  • Marketplace operations and reporting
Talha Rashid, PPC Expert

Works the advertising layer day to day: campaign build, search-term governance and bid discipline against the margin targets the account is held to. Also builds the internal tooling that turns raw Amazon exports into decisions.

  • Search-term harvesting and negation
  • Placement multipliers and budget pacing

AI in the workflow

Claude Code sits underneath the stack, not beside it.

Every tool above answers the question it was built for. The cost of running an account is everything in between, and that is the work that gets skipped in a busy week.

Bulk files checked before upload

Structure, bid ceilings and negation conflicts are validated first, so a bad row is caught in seconds rather than in next month’s spend.

Search terms triaged overnight

Reports are parsed against margin thresholds and clustered by intent, so the morning starts with a shortlist, not a 40,000-row export.

Margin joined to ad data

Fees, storage and returns are merged with campaign performance, so a target ACOS reflects contribution margin per ASIN.

Listing drift caught early

Titles, bullets and A+ content are diffed across marketplaces on a schedule. Suppressions surface the day they happen.

The judgement stays with us; the retyping does not. None of this replaces an operator. It removes the excuse for a decision to go unmade because the data was inconvenient to assemble.

Questions

Before you get in touch.

Are you an Amazon agency or a freelancer?
Neither, exactly. Amazon's Experts is a three-person practice. There are no account managers passing messages along: you deal directly with the people who run your account.
Who will manage my Amazon account day to day?
Muneeb leads the account and its strategy, Faris owns margin, fees and pricing, and Talha runs the advertising. All three work on the same account.
Do you manage Seller Central, Vendor Central or both?
Both. We run third-party Seller Central accounts and first-party Vendor Central accounts, and brands that sell through both.
Which Amazon marketplaces do you cover?
North America and Europe: amazon.com, amazon.ca, amazon.com.mx, amazon.co.uk, amazon.de, amazon.fr, amazon.it, amazon.nl, amazon.se. Each one is treated as its own search market.
How do we start working together?
Send the marketplace, the channel and what is going wrong through the contact page. You get a free written read of the account within one working day. From there it is an account audit or a quote for ongoing management.

Not sure where to start? An Amazon account auditfinds where the account is stuck, and how pricing works explains what a quote depends on.
